Post 72: Mission Accomplished

I had never bought something online before, i prefer to go to the nearest store and take a look after what i need, so i would be able to check for its conditions etc

However because of the time-constraint and perhaps i had spending a lot on buying books, i have started to switch on online bookstores, obviously because it's offer the same books at the very reasonable price.

I usually spent around RM100 and get to buy only two books in one shot. With online buying, i have only need RM87.00 inclusive postage for three books as you can see in the pictures above. Win !! Hoyeah :D

Now, i am looking for Norwegian Wood(Haruki Murakami) and Brida(Paulo Coelho) .. where to find it ?

Let's start searching !

Good Night :)

Post 70: Obsessions

I only have two, for the time being. If it is not because of shoes, it is surely because of books. I can't see books, i want to grab it all.

I am currently reading The Best of Me by Nicholas Sparks where it had mostly a very good reviews on it. It has been a week since my first day reading this book and found myself stucked at page 7, seems like very hard to turned to the next page. I ended up falling asleep after reading only half a page. Hopefully, it is just because of the slow pace at the beginning. Hey Ho.

Btw, i am planning on adding up below books in my collections, have a very long wish lists this time !

Happy Reading ! ;)

Post 69: Big Girl - Danielle Steel

Finally finished reading this book in less than two weeks. I can feel Victoria Dawson, and hardly can put this one down ;)

* * *

A chubby little girl with ordinary looks, Victoria Dawson has always felt out of place in her family, especially in body-conscious L.A. While her parents and sister can eat anything and not gain an ounce, Victoria must watch everything she eats, as well as endure her father's belittling comments about her body and see her academic achievements go unacknowledged. Ice cream and oversized helpings of all the wrong foods give her comfort, but only briefly. The one thing she knows is that she has to get away from home, and after college in Chicago, she moves to New York City.

Landing her dream job as a high school teacher, Victoria loves working with her students and wages war on her weight at the gym. Despite tension with her parents, Victoria remains close to her younger sister, Grace. Though they couldn't be more different in looks, they love each other unconditionally. So when Grace announces her engagement to a man who is an exact replica of their narcissistic father, Victoria worries about her sister's future happiness, and with no man of her own, she feels like a failure once again. As the wedding draws near, a chance encounter, a deeply upsetting betrayal, and a family confrontation lead to a turning point.

Behind Victoria is a lifetime of hurt and neglect she has tried to forget. Ahead is a challenge and a risk: to accept herself as she is, celebrate it, and claim the victories she has fought so hard for and deserves. Big girl or not, she is terrific and discovers that herself.

I never had imagined to receive any recognition like award, trophy or something on anything i did. I am a person who is trying so hard to pulled out the best of me.

The truth is i just an average engineering graduates with an average academic achievement, always found herself unlucky enough in her what so ever kind of relationships, who is trying so hard to be excel at least in her working life. Hehe. It hurts me a lot to wrote this but i speak the truth, the real me ;p

I started working on 21st December 2009 and have been moving in and out to at least three companies in less than two years, or is it a year ? Hee

I never heard mainframe until a week before the interview, and honestly never thought to be in this industries for almost two years and counting. I am grateful enough to have such a wonderful colleagues ever since i started working. They are very helpful, always.

And so i received this trophy today, and it will always remind me to work harder (insya-Allah) even when i thought this came too early for me as i am still on my learning phases. Thanks to team mates too for guidance :)

In the meanwhile, here are another stocks of my book collections, all to be read. Yeayyyy(okay ga nyambung)

Post 67: Accessories

I am not a big fan of accessories actually, be it from necklace, ring, bracelet, i am only wearing watch to work or outing.

However, i found myself a little bit weird since last month when i started to buy a ring, one after another. Not only buy, i wear it to the office. Ngehee. I found it useful when i stressed out with pile of works, and i don't have much time to read any kind of books, so the ring helps me a lot even if it is the plain ones, i will get so much into the ring, looking at its colors, shapes, also day-dreaming on buying another one in different colors. Haha ;p

Here are some of my favorites:

How bout yours ? What kind of accessories do you prefer ?

Post 64: Be True to Yourself.

To be true to yourself means to act in accordance with who you are and what you believe.

If you know and love yourself you will find it effortless to be true to yourself.

Just as you cannot love anyone else until you love yourself, you cannot be true to anyone else until you are true to yourself.

Be who you are. Have the courage to accept yourself as you really are, not as as someone else thinks you should be. Do not take action or pretend to be someone else for the sake of gaining acceptance.

betruetoyourselfMany young people believe that when they do things to please their peers, such as drink when they shouldn't, or behave and party in inappropriate ways, they will be popular and liked. They go against the advice of their parents or their own common sense only to find themselves in trouble and not accomplishing what they set out to do.

When you do things that are not genuine or a reflection of the real you, you will not be happy with yourself and will end up confused. You'll be confused because you won't know whom to please, or how.

Self-respect comes from being true to who you really are and from acting in accordance with your fundamental nature.

When you respect yourself, others will respect you. They will sense that you are strong and capable of standing up for yourself and your beliefs.

When you are true to yourself, you allow your individuality and uniqueness to shine through. You respect the opinions of others but do not conform to stereotypes or their expectations of you.

To be true to yourself takes courage. It requires you to be introspective, sincere, open-minded and fair. It does not mean that you are inconsiderate or disrespectful of others. It means that you will not let others define you or make decisions for you that you should make for yourself.

Be true to the very best that is in you and live your life consistent with your highest values and aspirations. Those who are most successful in life have dared to creatively express themselves and in turn, broaden the experiences and perspectives of everyone else.

Tips On Being True to Yourself

  • Be who you are, be your genuine self

  • Follow your own value system and common sense

  • Listen to the advice of others, but make up your own mind

  • Recognize, appreciate, and develop your unique talents

  • Stand up for what you believe in and you will gain respect

  • Know that being 'different' is a gift

  • Understand that you are enriching others by being yourself

Post 63: The Face in The Glass

When you get what you want in your struggle for self
And the world makes you king for a day,
Just go to a mirror and look at yourself
And see what THAT face has to say.

For it isn't your father or mother or spouse
Whose judgment upon you must pass;
The person whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the one staring back from the glass.

Some people might think you are a straight-shootin' chum
And call you a wonderful guy or gal,
But the face in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look it straight in the eye.
That's the one you must please, never mind all the rest,
For that's the one with you clear up to the end.
And you know you have passed your most dangerous test
If the face in the glass is your friend.
You may fool the whole world down the pathway of life
And get pats on your back as you pass,
But your final reward will be heartache and tears
If you've cheated the face in the glass.

Post 62: Ayat-ayat Cinta

Desir pasir di padang tandus
Segersang pemikiran hati
Terkisah ku di antara cinta yang rumit

Bila keyakinanku datang

Kasih bukan sekadar cinta
Pengorbanan cinta yang agung
Ku pertaruhkan

Maafkan bila ku tak sempurna
Cinta ini tak mungkin ku cegah
Ayat-ayat cinta bercerita
Cintaku padamu
Bila bahagia mulai menyentuh
Seakan ku bisa hidup lebih lama
Namun harus ku tinggalkan cinta
Ketika ku bersujud

Bila keyakinanku datang

Kasih bukan sekedar cinta
Pengorbanan cinta yang agung
Ku pertaruhkan

Post 60: Are you Going for an Interview ? Here are Some Tips.

This morning while browsing the net, i've found one thread about what should you prepare before going for bank interview. I have shared with them, then i thought why should not i share it in here. Hence, this entry :)

I was graduated on August 2009, since then i have been through an interviews for so many times i've lost count. I was graduated with a Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering majoring in Electronic & Communication. Few months before graduated, i have started to apply for various job positions, some related with what i have learned while the other some just wasn't. From undergraduate internship programme, to sales, to management, to engineering and most of it were to IT, from well-known and established companies, MNC to the smaller ones.

I remembered my very first interview was with UEM Group Berhad in Menara UEM, just beside KL Sentral (if i have not mistaken) . I still remember when one of the interviewers asked me on why did i applied for the post of Management while i am from Engineering based. He was very doubtful i can really see from his face. He even told me that i applied for that position because i have not getting any offers from engineering company. The truth was i just finished my studies a few weeks before the interview, so that would be my very first. I don't have any problems whenever the interviewer questioning me on why should i applied something which is very different from what i have learned. But the thing is do not ever questions someone's interest. If i never ever been interested in that position, i would not be in your room attending the interview and i would not applied the job at the very first place. I wish i could answered that. However i managed to calm downed myself and behaved. Hihi

So, what should you do before attending any interviews other than needed documents ? As for me, i would make sure i have all of these:

1. High Self-Confidence

Some of the interviewers, staffing and recruitment persons or HR usually see on how the potential candidates reacted. How you entered the room. Your posture when sitting, your body gesture when explaining things, your intonation while talking, how you are reacting over some issues being raised etc. Walking to the room with smile, sitting straight, introduce yourself when being told. Talk slowly yet sounded firm, do not show them your nervousness. Voice out your opinions so that they could see that you are actually bold but be careful to show your other sides that you are tolerable and humble enough to listen to others opinions.

2. Speaks fluently

I know for most of us(Malays) who rarely speak English at home will encounter this kind of situations or problems. But remember, practice makes perfect. Plus you don't have to use such extravagant vocab, try to make use of the basic and simple ones. The important thing is you could express yourself while being interviewed and the interviewer can relate on what you are talking about, so that it could not washed out your chances of getting placement.

3. Mock interview.

I did this every time before going for an interviews. Asked yourself some familiar interview questions and answered them. You can asked your dad, your mom, your sis or your friends to become your interviewers. So exciting right? Hihi

4. Be true. Be honest.

You are trying to sell yourself, i know but do not ever pretending like you know all. You could answers " Sorry Sir, i never experienced this before " or " Sorry Sir, i never learned about this before " The trick is, after you are saying such things that might be wiped off your chances, you should then asked the interviewers, " Sorry sir, can you kindly explain to me what is that ? " That shows you are actually interested towards the job but you are somewhat inexperienced. Don't be surprised if you had the offer and they are willing to teach you from the start, they might be as well assigning you your buddy, someone senior to guide you doing job before standing alone. Please be careful not to ask so much before they found out that you are actually annoying. Hee

5. Do you have any questions ?

Make sure you have questions to asked, even one ! That shows your interests for the post you applied. I always asked something about career growth and development, and also scoped of the job you applied, i mean this is the only time to get more info ! Sometimes, when you are starting to asked them questions, they will tend to ask more about yourself, means what ? You have more time to sell yourself ! This trick worked almost 95% to me. Make sure to try this out for your next interview :)

I think that's all for now. Hope it could at least help you. Good luck for anyone who are going for the interviews in the nearest time. Always do your best so that you don't have anything to be regretted.

Night.

Post 59: Selamat Hari Raya

Well maybe it is not too late to wish all my fellow friends or reader(s), Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin .. i believed most of us have had a wonderful raya celebrations with our beloved ones. Insya-Allah.

So i just came back from Johor this evening after a whole week of holiday, and do you know what was the first thing i did after reaching home ?

First: TURNED ON MY LAPTOP !

Second: OPENED THE OFFICE OUTLOOK.

Third: CHECKING ALL 33 UNREAD MAILS FOR WORK RELATED

Ehem.

So, i questioned myself, do i actually missed my usual routines, like checking office mails even though out of office hour OR do i actually love my job ? Hehe

I preferred the second one as i saw myself went through the office mails more than i checked my Facebook updates, and i often updating something work related through my Twitter account more than i talked about my personal life. Heh :)

And i counting the days to hold the support phone. Err. I am pretty much nervous you don't have any ideas ;p

Hopefully everything went well and okay.

Nitey :)

Post 58: Umbrella - Scott Simons

You have my heart
We'll never be world apart
Maybe in magazines
But you'll still be my star
'Cause in the dark
You can't see shiny cars
That's when you need me there
With you I'll always share

When the sun shines, we'll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be your friend
Took an oath, I'm going to stick it out 'till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella
You can stand under my umbrella

Under my umbrella

These fancy things
Will never come in between
You're part of my entity
Here for infinity
When the war has took its part
When the world has dealt its cards
If the hand is hard
Together we'll mend your heart

When the sun shines, we'll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be your friend
Took an oath, I'm going to stick it out 'till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella
You can stand under my umbrella

Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella
Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella
Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella
Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh, eh

You can run into my arms
It's okay, don't be alarmed
Come into me
There's no distance in between our love
So go on and let the rain pour
All because...

When the sun shines, we'll shine together
Told you I'll be here forever
Said I'll always be your friend
Took an oath, I'm going to stick it out 'till the end
Now that it's raining more than ever
Know that we still have each other
You can stand under my umbrella
You can stand under my umbrella

Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella
Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella
Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh
Under my umbrella
Ella, ella, eh, eh, eh, eh

Post 57: Count on Me

If you ever find yourself stuck in the middle of the sea
I'll sail the world to find you
If you ever find yourself lost in the dark and you can't see
I'll be the light to guide you

Find out what we're made of
What we are called to help our friends in need

You can count on me like one, two, three
I'll be there and I know when I need it
I can count on you like four, three, two
And you'll be there cause that's what friends
Are supposed to do

If you toss and you turn and you just can't fall asleep
I'll sing a song beside you
And if you ever forget how much you really mean to me
Everyday I will remind you

Find out what we're made of
What we are called to help our friends in need

You can count on me like one, two, three
I'll be there and I know when I need it
I can count on you like four, three, two
And you'll be there 'cause that's what friends
Are supposed to do

You'll always have my shoulder when you cry
I'll never let go, never say goodbye

You can count on me like one, two, three
I'll be there and I know when I need it
I can count on you like four, three, two
And you'll be there 'cause that's what friends
Are supposed to do, oh yeah, ooh, ooh

You can count on me cause I can count on you

Post 55: Smiles and Laughter Are a Way of Bonding.

I smile a lot, like always smiling since i believe it would be able to create positive energies surrounds me. It is as easy as ABC. You meet someone, says Hi and smiles. Do it every mornings, it might helps you a lot, especially when you are all stressed up with tones of work.

. . . . .

Robert Provine found that laughing was more than thirty times as likely to occur in participants in a social situation than in a solitary setting. Laughter, he found, has less to do with jokes and funny stories and more to do with building relationships. He found that only 15 percent of our laughter has to do with jokes. In Provine's studies, participants were more likely to speak to themselves when alone than they were to laugh, Participants were videotaped watching a humorous video clip in three different situations: alone, with a same sex stranger, and with a same-sex friend.

Only 15 percent of our laughter has to do with jokes. Laughter has more to do with bonding.

Even though no differences existed between how funny the participants felt the video clip was, those who watched the amusing video clip alone laughed significantly less than did those who watched the video clip with another person present, whether it was a friend or a stranger. The frequency and time spent laughing were significantly greater in both situations involving another person than when participants was alone.

Laughter occurred much more frequently during social interaction. These results demonstrate that the more social a situation is, the more often people will laugh and the longer each laugh will last.

Post 54: Embrace Your Fears.

I have been included in on-call support list for next month. The problem is i am still new with my workloads(requests etc.), and to handle Support Mailbox which is full with complex issues is something that i never think about and scared of. I doubt my confidence level since i think i am somehow lack of mainframe knowledge. How to boost my self-confidence ? Hence this post, i found this reading materials that might help me, and you :')

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear. Except a creature be part coward, it is not a compliment to say it is brave - Mark Twain

Logic would dictate that overcoming something that frightens you make you stronger and more self-reliant. By embracing your fears, you are creating a much more efficient and practical way of dealing with them. You don't have to climb Mount Everest or jump out of a perfectly good airplane to move through your anxieties; oftentimes just dealing appropriately with the stress and worry of daily life can increase your self-confidence.

One of my friends is a successful physician who says that he is scared every day, and he welcomes it because he truly believes it makes him a better doctor. He is more careful and doesn't take unnecessary chances with his patients. It drives him to be his very best and makes him a more confident practitioner.

I was once told that faith is the opposite of fear, and whereas i see how having a belief in a higher power can make you feel safer, I also think that understanding why your fears exist, and learning the lessons they can teach us, are also very powerful tools.

For most of us there is a payoff to our fears. Yes, they can keep us physically safe so we don't step off a cliff or try to pet a tiger, but there is often more to our fears than just keeping ourselves protected. Fears can make us more introspective and help us see exactly where we need to make adjustments so that we have the strength to accomplish the task at hand. Having the confidence wrap your head around your fears and look at how they help or hurt you is a great exercise to help you not only overcome them, but also use them to accomplish your goals.

I don't know anyone who has overcome or embraced their fears and not been better off and more confident for it. Whatever it is that scares the hell out of you should be tackled with the insight that, by hitting it head-on, you will vanquish the demons that reside in your mind.

Post 53: Things i Checked Before Buying Books.

Do you read books ? What kind of genres do you preferred ? I read almost all genres till i realized I am much more interested on something with facts and evidences, something with statistics and has been analysts. Anyway, other than the contains itself, there would be something that i look after before buying any books, and what are they ?

1. Book's Title

- I always found myself selecting and screening books by it's title first and always being attracted with something which i believe suits enough with my situations or circumstances at that time. For example, whenever i felt a bit unhappy, i would prefer to read something which can help me improved my level of happiness.

2. Font-size Used

- I admit that the smaller size of font used by the publishers would made a turned-off for me. This is a tough calls when i found a very interesting reading materials, however they were using kind of small-sized fonts, i would just put back the books on its rack. I won't buy, because i know it could distracted me from continuous reading. I preferred books with medium to large sized of fonts.

3. Plain white papers

- You know right sometimes the books were printed on the somehow somewhat brownish kind of colored papers ? It looks like a vintage, perhaps but i definitely won't buy because it could turned-on my sleepy mode. Haha. I loved the smells of carbons from fresh white papers ! Okay, i know i am freak ? No, i am uniquely the way i am ;p

4. Book's Covers

- I found this one book with very bright green color covered yesterday. It seems so eye catching i tell you !! It spells sweet ! Just imagine your books with bright colors as covers on the shelf ? Is not it interesting ? However this will only be on my very least things i checked before buying books. If i selected books with very nice covers, it was bonuses ! If not, i would just do not care as i have no. 1 until no. 3 checked !

p/s: Happy Ramadhan to all my Muslim's readers if have any ;)

Post 52: Remember, There is No One Else on Earth Like You

What is the biggest mistake people make in applying for jobs ?

" The biggest mistake people make in applying for jobs is in not being themselves. Instead of taking their hair down and being completely frank, they often try to give the answers they think you want. But it doesn't work, because nobody wants a phony. Nobody ever wants a counterfeit coin " - Paul Boynton

You and I have such abilities, so let's not waste a second worrying because we are not like other people. You are something new in this world. Never before, since the beginning of time, has there anybody like you, and never again throughout all the ages to come will there ever be anybody exactly like you again.

The science of genetic informs us that you are what you are largely as a result of twenty-three chromosomes by your father and twenty-three chromosomes contributed by your mother. These forty-six chromosomes comprise everything that determines what you inherit.

If you can't be a highway, then just be a trail,
If you can't be the sun, be a star,
It isn't by size that you win or you fail,
Be the best of whatever you are !

Post 49: Lelaki Kacak Bersama Jenazah

I got this note from other's blog entry. It is as a reminder for me and to all Muslims.

Hadis yang Menarik Rasulullah S.A.W

Saat Anda mengamalkan Al-Qur'an dlm kehidupan sehari-hari.ia stroke...Teruskn membaca & mengamalknnya agar syaitan terus stroke .

Post 48: There has always Pros and Cons

I always complaining, not that i am ungrateful with what i had but i opt for a better life. Like a common quotes you usually heard, " Today is better than yesterday " ;p

Before this i worked on rotating shifts. Sometimes i'll be working on night shift for three days straight and got two days off and continued with another two days working on a day shift. Mind you, it was a 12-hours working job and i had a sleeping issues. So usually for my first day night shift, i will not be sleeping for 24 hours, and on the third day, i will be looking like a living corpse.

But, the good thing is i will only be working for 14 days a month ! And the pay date was on 26th every months ! So, i will not have to wait for the payment to be done so long ! I don't know others but as for me, i do not have much or never have financial issues when i worked on shift. " So fast got paid !! I haven't used my last month salaries yet ! " - Seriously, that was what i thought on every 26th BACK THEN !! I do not have so much time spending moneys cause every time i got day-off i will be focusing on sleeping. Yeah, sleep like a baby, or Koala.

And now, i have a normal working hours job. I work for eight hours every day except on Saturday and Sunday. I don't have to work on night (Great !) But i can't stand to wait for 28th every months to get paid. I worked for 28, 30 or 31 days a month and i only get my salary on day 28. Arghh. That is too long for me. And every end of months i surely thought of when the salary will be banked in to my account ! Haha

Moral of the stories, please stop complaining, living your life happily and cherished every single moments in your life.

Nite.

Post 47: Quote of The Day

Don't write your name on the sand, waves will wash it away.
Don't write your name in the sky, wind may blow it away.

Write your name in the hearts of people you come in touch with.
That's where it will stay.

Post 46: Books Review Session

While i was away, busy kicking my life, this blog of mine surprisingly received quite a big number of traffics from my previous entry which was from the Post 2: The Definitive Book of Body Language. I am sorry that i reviewed nothing much because i thought that okay, i updating this blog for the sake of i might want to read those stories again after maybe ten years, so i would definitely knew what i have been doing for the past decades, without expecting someone whom i never know will be reading my blog, looking for references or reviews. Hihi :')

I love books !! Who doesn't, right ?

I always looking or buying my favorites from MPH Bookstore, Alamanda, Putrajaya because it is the nearest. Hee :')

The latest book i bought was 501 Most Devastating Disasters, which has been published by Polly Manguel. It contains the collection of 501 of the world's worst disasters spans almost 2500 years of history. It includes natural calamities like the eruption of Vesuvius or the Indian ocean tsunami, unstoppable diseases like Black Death and AIDS, and terrible accidents like the sinking of the Titanic !

I have finished reading The Wedding Girl by Madeleine Wickham (another name of Sophie Kinsella) and currently reading Mini Shopaholic, and i also have another books written by the same author which is Sleeping Arrangements, in the books-to-read lists :')

Whenever i feel frustrated, feeling down, loosing the spirits of life, i will be reading La Tahzan Don't Be Sad by Dr. 'Aidh bin 'Abdullah Al-Qarni. I always feel better after reading it :')

For self-motivating books, I have How to Enjoy Life and Your Job, How to Win Friends & Influence People, The Quick and Easy Way to Effective Thinking for at least until next months reading, all from Dale Carnegie.

And recently, i am aiming to buy this one book from a very different genre of books i have read and had before which is A Doctor in The House: The Memoirs of Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, written by Fourth Malaysia's Former Prime Minister himself. It has been on sell for RM100.00 each. Honestly, i hate talking about politics, it's getting dirtier everyday, no ? But i really think that i SHOULD have this book. MUST have !

Facts you might want to know:

1. Seven out of ten people cross their left arm over their right

2. Cultural differences are many, but the basic body-language are the same everywhere

3. Body language is easier to fake with men that with women because overall, men aren't good readers of body language ;p

4. A natural smile produces characteristic wrinkles around the eyes, while insincere people smile only with their mouth

Post 45: I am Here and Breathing.

Hello !

It has been quite some time since my last update. Sorry for leaving this blog unattended. I am really not that busy, only that i had so many things to think of at that moment :)

29th April marked the last day of me being a part of RB* families. This account has been discontinued and later will be managed by their own Security staffs. So, good luck :')

And as for me, i have already been with the new team for a week. Doing nothing much other than online training for the whole week. It was kind of boring, however i realized once started it would be tough and challenging. I really hope i could absorbs those new things as fast and as much as i could. Insya-Allah :')

Ohhh .. for the past few weeks, i have been thinking about, what if in future, i falling in love with someone who is very different from me. Different in this context are referred to different nations or maybe races etc. The way i imagine is, it would turns out .. erm i don't dare to say bad but surely it is tough. Right ? Ehem .. NO nothing happens, i just asking ;p

Enjoy your holidays guys !~

Post 44: Open Your Eyes. Touch Your Heart. And Turn Around.

Okay, this will be the quick one because it's already 11:54PM and i need to have a good sleep, because obviously tomorrow is only Friday, not yet weekend, so i need to wake up early for work. Hee :')

I have attended New Employee Orientation for two days in KL, and i have just updating my goals minutes before in H*P Portal. Before this i never paid an attention on how great this portal was so i only ended up checking the eOvertime and Pay Slip. Haha. Honestly, no kidding.

So i started to think on my goals, it should be the realistic one. I mean, you can't be the Boss in a year, right ? It takes time, and efforts to go further. Simple, you have stairs to climb up. Fullstop.

It is hard actually to state the goals, at first. I even caught myself Googling on " What would Jr. Sec Analysts should be achieved in a year " Haha. Man, serious this is not a joke to laughing at. It was so hard i scared i will crack my head out! Definitely i am in the serious mode to set my goals after coming back from the orientation and later it was all going to be blank. How frustrating.

I remembered someone ever told me that we would never actually started thinking until we grabbed pencils, pens, papers etc and started to write or draw something. Then only where our brains starting to work.

I applied it during my uni years. Whenever i got stuck on the questions, i will write almost anything on the paper, be it the formulas, the shapes, the charts, or even i drew a portraits of my lecturers. Haha. Exaggerating ;p

So i first started to write my goals title. Goal also need title hah ? So i wrote the boring title like Goal 2011. Later i got an idea, so i wrote it back as Goal - Phase 1 (December 2010 - May 2011).
Then again i got the ideas. So now, i kept changing my goal's title and never updating the contains itself. Hahaha ;p

See, whenever you started writing, your brain will suddenly functioning, out of no where. The ideas will keep coming out like the water falls from Niagara. Once you started writing, you hardly can stop.

So there's a tip for you. Hik3

(Okay, actually this post never relate to the title itself. I want to talk about touches someone's heart, but suddenly i forgot what i want to say because i babble too much. Haha)

So i guess i will be updating it later.

I am sleepy and need to have a good rest.

Good Night !~

Post 43: The Magical Words.

I am a simple girl that a bar of chocolate is enough to make me happy. Hee :')

Of the current working environment, where i need to stay closely with clients via requests, mails and by phone calls, i never ever expected to receive replied mails from them saying " Thank You "

Obviously, it is my job to assist them on any problems they are having. I assume i do not deserved Thank You. I got paid for what am i doing, anyway.

However, not that every day i got the " Thank you " message. Over two months of working, i have only got less than five messages saying the same, the results of why i take it as specials and valuable things :')

I am not expecting some one saying thanks to me, but it is nice of you to do so. We are still human after all. Remember, we should not expecting anything in returns, but, by saying Thanks, we will make others feel appreciated. By saying thanks, you will make some one smiles again. By saying thanks, you will make some one stays awake over his downs. Etc.

As for me, " Thank You " such a magical words, which enable some one to absorbed and released positive energies towards surround !

P/S: Thanks for reading this entry :')
